Needs

The Plano Senior High School Wind Ensemble has been invited, after a competitive nationwide audition, to participate in the upcoming Music for All National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis on March 21-23, 2024. This invitation by audition recognizes Plano Senior High's Wind Ensemble as one of the finest scholastic music ensembles in America. The cost for our students and directors to attend the festival is estimated at $100,000. Unfortunately, this incredible honor is one that was not included or expected in our annual budget.

Music for All’s mission is to create, provide, and expand positively life-changing experiences through music for all. The students’ time in Indianapolis will be a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, where they will be surrounded, adjudicated, and taught by some of the world’s leading music educators.

We are incredibly proud of our students for being selected to participate! These are students who have persevered through the difficult and uncertain years of COVID. They stabilized, flourished, and discovered comfort in music performance and excellence through their instrument. We know they will represent PSHS, Plano ISD, and the great state of Texas well during their time in Indianapolis.
