Mission

The Plano Senior High School Band Boosters mission is to make their band experience positive by

- lending moral support to the band students,

- providing them with financial assistance, and

- furthering their musical education.

The Boosters work directly with the band directors on the needs of the band and how best to use Booster funds to support the band, the students, and the Plano Senior High community.

Needs

The Plano Senior High School Band has a legacy of service to our school and community since its beginnings in the early 20th century. With more than 150 students, the Band shares excellence in music performance, representing PSHS, Plano ISD, and the great state of Texas well everywhere they go on the field and concert stage.

This year we welcome new jazz and percussion associate directors who will bring new traditions and excitement to the program. The Band will continue to host the 33rd Plano drumline Competition in September and the Plano Jazz Invitational in the Spring. These events bring bands from dozens of schools across the region to compete and grow in their musicianship.

The 2025 goal for North Texas Giving Day is $10,000, which will directly help fund the costs of dozens of instructors and clinicians that provide ongoing expertise and growth in the students' musical journey throughout the year.
