The Plano North Metroplex (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has been working and serving in the community for 35 years.  Driven by our members' compassion and heart for service, we continue to do the work that impacts our community.  Our vision is to positively impact our community.

The goal this year is $15,000.  Help us continue our important programs which include:

Scholarship programs for deserving college students. In the last 5 years, more than $160,000 have been awarded through this program

Educational programs like NSBE Jr (National Society of Black Engineers) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) especially targeting children of color

Our ongoing Community Programs include:

Back-to-School  providing school supplies and backpacks to families in our community

Support to  our local food banks -  Minnie’s Food Pantry and the North TX Food Bank

SWAG (Securing Wisdom And Grace) our mentoring program for girls in grades 6-12 now entering its seventh year

Dental care and education via the Dental Van in partnership with the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures initiative

Voter Registration Initiative and Education

increasing the awareness of local black-owned and small businesses
