Throughout the year the Plano Art Association (PAA) stages a number of annual exhibits, including:
-The 125 Show, Plano's largest juried art exhibit, attracting artists from within a 125 mile radius of Plano (encompassing a large percentage of the North Texas Area)
-The Members Show which spotlights the talents of all members submitting work
-In partnership with Plano International Festival, PAA hosts a multicultural art exhibit, entitled Global Reflections - Art, the Universal Language.
-A Plein Aire event in conjunction with the Plano Balloon Festival during fall.
-Members' participate in monthly Downtown Plano Arts & Wine Walk.
-Artists' Studio Tour.
-Monthly members' meetings featuring "art share", "art demos", and "lectures by guest artists."
-Weekly Friday Night Lights & Shadows, a portrait/figurative session where artists paint and draw from live models.
- PAA Facebook Page
- PAA Private Group for members to allow display of artwork and discussion and questions of technique

Our 125 Show exhibit is our biggest fundraiser which was held in July.  It was our first live event in two years. Artists and supporters within the 125 miles of Plano graced us with art and donations.

Our membership continues to grow and in 2023 we provided art exhibits for two wonderful events:

The Gallery@Courtyard Celebrating Area Artists the its 20th Anniversary at the Courtyard theater in Plano.

In September we are visible at the Plano International Festival, exhibiting at Gallery@Courtyard opening September 13th in Plano.

Our Needs

-We are in need of a social media expert who can help us widen our exposure on the internet. We would like to be able to reach more artists and art lovers, so they can join and benefit from the service we provide.
-Due to our growth we need to rent an office with 1000 square feet
- We need a technologically minded individual who can help guide us through development of on-line programs such as live workshops.
- We need the funds to buy the technology needed to provide on-line workshops, live streaming meetings, webinars, etc.

Mission

The Plano Art Association is dedicated to encouraging the visual arts development and education of the membership and community, and inspiring awareness of the visual arts by sharing the joy, passion, and beauty within and beyond our plano community.
