$10,000 Goal

Pecan Valley Centers is a trusted community resource dedicated to improving lives through compassionate, comprehensive behavioral health and disability services. We provide mental health treatment for adults and youth, crisis intervention, substance use recovery services, respite care, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Recognizing that health and well-being are influenced by more than clinical care alone, we also help individuals and families address social needs that impact stability and quality of life, including housing challenges, financial hardships, and food insecurity.

We are proud to serve those who have served our country through specialized veteran support services that address both mental health needs and barriers to overall well-being. Our programs also provide support for military dependents, surviving spouses, and families, helping them access the resources and care they need to thrive.

Every day, Pecan Valley Centers helps individuals and families overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve greater independence. Through accessible, person-centered care, we strengthen the health and well-being of our rural communities, ensuring that people of all ages and abilities have the support they need to thrive. Donor support makes it possible for us to expand access to critical services, respond to urgent community needs, and create lasting positive impact for thousands of individuals and families across our six-county catchment area.

Mission

Our mission is to help individuals and families overcome challenges associated with mental illness, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities within our community, regardless of health insurance status or ability to pay.

Needs

Pecan Valley Centers is strengthening mental health care access in Hood, Somervell, Johnson, Parker, Erath, and Palo Pinto Counties by building a new 10,000 square-foot mental health outpatient facility in Granbury. With your help, this clinic will expand capacity to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health services, including substance use support, to individuals and families.

Across our six-county region, your support can also help us:

Address more social needs among clients, such as housing and food insecurity, that impact overall health.

Fulfill future community projects that raise awareness of mental health challenges and give community members a safe place to navigate tough times.

Continue to provide engaging activities and social outings for clients staying at our respite centers and for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
