🐾 URGENT: Help Us Save North Texas Dogs from Euthanasia!
Every day, countless dogs across North Texas face needless euthanasia at shelters due to limited space. Happy FurEver is fighting to change that — but we need your help.
FUNDS NEEDED:
Your donations will enable us to save more dogs, and any additional funds will be put toward a rescue van so we can handle a larger volume of dogs to the vet, adoption events, shelter pickups, and out-state-of-state adoption transfer points.
More funds = more lives saved.
WHAT WE DO:
Happy FurEver pulls at-risk dogs from shelters then gives them a safe space to run around and decompress while they wait for their furever home.
We work with transport partners and rescue groups to move dogs to states with higher adoption demand. But first, we must pull them from shelters and keep them safe until fully vetted, then transport can be arranged.
For dogs who are less adoptable, we give them permanent homes at our sanctuary to run around with other dogs, snooze in climate controlled kennels or farmhouse, and swim in our pond. Our amazing caretakers live onsite and give the dogs all the love and care they need.
💔 Without donations, we simply can’t save dogs
💖 A generous donor is matching all donations up to $50,000 — your gift will go twice as far!
🐶 A few dogs we’ve saved:
- Liberty, the black boxer pup pictured below, was saved just hours before being euthanized at a rural shelter due to a treatable leg injury. She’s now in a wonderful home in NY.
- Dutchess, the geriatric Great Dane pictured, was rescued from a horrible abuse case. She is now has a permanent home on the Happy FurEver sanctuary.
- Rickey and Dickey are a pair of lab mixes saved from neglect on chains. They recently flew to a rescue partner in NY and were adopted to great homes.
- Canela, the senior husky, was dumped at the Fort Worth shelter and is now a permanent resident at our sanctuary.
