For 40 years, Partners Resource Network (PRN) has helped Texas families of children and youth with disabilities turn questions into knowledge, confidence, and action.
Raising and educating a child with a disability can bring many questions. Families need clear, reliable information and practical tools to make informed decisions for their children. PRN provides free training, individual assistance, trusted resources, and guidance to help parents understand special education services, participate effectively in their child’s education, and work collaboratively with schools and professionals.
Through our statewide network of Parent Training and Information Centers—PACT, PATH, PEN, and TEAM—PRN serves families of children and youth with disabilities from birth through age 26.
In North Texas, PRN’s PACT Project supports families across a large and diverse service area that includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Mesquite, Grand Prairie, Denton, and surrounding communities. PACT provides families with free information, training, resources, and individual attention to help them better understand special education and make informed decisions about their children’s education.
Many PRN staff members are also parents of children with disabilities. This firsthand experience helps us provide practical, family-centered support grounded in the real questions families face every day.
For four decades, PRN has worked toward one simple goal: giving families the information, tools, and support they need to help their children succeed.
Your North Texas Giving Day gift directly supports our work with families in North Texas, helping PACT reach more parents, provide more free training and resources, and ensure families have reliable support when they need it.
Informed families. Stronger partnerships. Greater opportunities for children with disabilities across North Texas.
