PAC Cares Community Foundation is the nonprofit wing of Pan-African Connection Bookstore, Art Gallery & Resource Center. We extend the bookstore’s mission beyond its walls through literacy programs, book giveaways, gardening classes, cultural education, community markets, and family-centered events. Our goal is to create spaces where our community can learn, grow, connect, and see themselves reflected in books, history, and culture.

Your support helps us continue our community-driven programs, including book drives and giveaways, gardening classes, cultural and educational events, and literacy programs for children and families.
We are also facing new challenges. Rising property taxes and additional fees in our area have caused our facility costs to increase significantly, with some rental expenses nearly doubling. Donations will help us maintain our space, complete much-needed renovations, and continue offering accessible programs to our community.
Our ultimate goal is to create a dedicated glass-enclosed literacy and reading room—a welcoming space where children, families, and community members can read, learn, gather, and see themselves reflected in books and culture. Your generosity will help us protect the space we have while building toward this important vision.
At PAC Community Cares, we believe that access to education, healthy food, and cultural connection is a basic right—not a privilege.
