For 50 years, Operation Kindness Humane Society has been there for North Texas pets when they need us most. When Blue arrived from one of our municipal shelter partners, he was fighting for his life. Blue and his two littermates were suffering from parvovirus, a highly contagious and often deadly disease that threatens vulnerable puppies.

They spent weeks in the care of our veterinary team, receiving intensive treatment, constant monitoring, and plenty of love as they fought to recover.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, Blue overcame the odds and recovered. Today, Blue is healing in a foster home - nearly ready to find the loving family he's been waiting for.

Our impact extends far beyond our walls.

Operation Kindness Humane Society partners with shelters, rescue organizations, and fellow nonprofits across North Texas to create a stronger, more collaborative animal welfare network. By working together with more than 100 shelters and rescues, we help save more lives, increase access to care, and support communities throughout the region.

One of those partners is Dallas Animal Services, from where more than 1,000 pets entered our care last year.

Thanks to supporters like you, Luna received the specialized care she needed in Operation Kindness' Rees-Jones Foundation Medical Wing. Once she recovered, she was transported to a partner organization in New York, where she was adopted into a loving home.

Today, Luna is healthy, happy, and exploring the world with her new family.
