What happens when a group of neighborhood folks gather who all love their public library? You get a passionate and dedicated group who strive to help our little branch of the Dallas Public Library thrive and offer programs that speak to the kids and adults who live in the North Oak Cliff area of Dallas. We are a volunteer run organization solely focused on the raising awareness and funds to support the North Oak Cliff Branch of the Dallas Public Library. All proceeds donated go directly to support fun and educational programs hosted by the library as well as lifting up our wonderful library staff.
The North Oak Cliff Library Friends (NOCLF) support educational programming and community outreach offered by the North Oak Cliff library. The NOCLF provides financial assistance, encourages volunteer support and community engagement based on unique neighborhood needs. NOCLF encourages advocacy to support public sector library resources.
We serve the families of the North Oak Cliff area by providing support to library staff, enabling them to create and provide engaging and educational programs for the community.
We believe the library is a place that welcomes everyone without bias.
