Help FREE Music Take Root in Dallas

The New Texas Symphony Orchestra, the premier all-volunteer community orchestra of Dallas, is beginning its 23rd season of enriching our community through FREE live symphonic music.

Season 23, “Last October's concert feaured soprano Gwendolyn Alfred.Roots,” explores the natural, cultural, and spiritual forces that connect us. Under the direction of Artistic Director and Conductor Dr. Michelle Perrin Blair, more than 80 accomplished volunteer musicians will bring this music to audiences across Dallas, all for free.

Celebrate our 23rd season with a gift of $23, become an NTSO Sustainer, or choose any amount meaningful to you. Your support helps provide the musicians, music, venues, guest artists, and production resources behind every NTSO performance.

Together, we can keep Dallas rooted in music that is FREE for ALL!

FREE for ALL!

FREE for ALL is NTSO’s promise to remove financial barriers on both sides of the concert experience.

Every NTSO event is free for the public, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds to experience live symphonic music. Our volunteer musicians also perform without paying membership dues or participation fees.

Because NTSO receives no ticket revenue and charges no musician dues, contributions from individuals, foundations, and community partners make every performance possible.

Giving Activity

Mission

The mission of the New Texas Symphony Orchestra is to enrich the greater Dallas communities. We offer inspiration and entertainment by connecting the people of North Texas with live symphonic music.

Our vision is to perform dynamic music that inspires and educates the community while nurturing the musicianship of our orchestra members.

Needs

Presenting professional-quality orchestral performances without charging admission requires significant community support.

North Texas Giving Day contributions help NTSO cover essential expenses, including:

* Performance hall and venue costs

* Music purchase, rental, and licensing

*Guest artists and composers

* Concert production and technical services

* Musician development and artistic programming

* Free community performances throughout Dallas

Your gift does more than support a concert. It creates opportunities for volunteer musicians to perform in a professional environment and gives audiences throughout Dallas access to meaningful live music, regardless of their ability to pay.
