Since 1927, Nelson University has been educating, equipping and deploying Servant-Leaders into every sphere of society. 

We currently offer over 70+ degrees, from Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral programs.

From our campus here in Waxahachie, across North Texas, and all around the world, our thousands of alumni are playing an active role in leading ministries, business, and organizations committed to the betterment of all people.

Today, we stand on the cusp of our second century of both influence and expansion. Of generational-shifting impact in the lives of our students.

Proudly standing on the legacy of our visionary founder, P.C. Nelson, and grounded in our North Texas roots, we are stepping boldly into the next 100 years with excitement and a spirit of innovation.

Here are a few of the new, exciting programs we offer:

• BA degree in Kinesiology - with a state of the art on-campus laboratory for hands-on learning
• BA Humanitarian Relief and Development - In partnership with Convoy of Hope, including global internship
• MA in Interdisciplinary Studies - This program emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to synthesize information from different fields, making graduates more versatile professionals. 
• A new course in Drone Videography - Introducing students pursuing a BA in Criminal Justice to the field of drone videography and surveillance in both Law Enforcement and First Responder careers, as well as in Digital Media Arts program.
