No Limits Arts Theatre (NLAT)
Where creativity heals, teaches, and transforms.
Art is the gateway to everything we do in the world. When that door opens, the creator steps into a space where thinking expands, feelings find expression, and new perspectives take shape. Art empowers. It teaches. It heals. It builds confidence, discipline, and self-worth—and it offers young people the profound discovery that they can do and be anything.
For 19 years, No Limits Arts Theatre (NLAT) has upheld that truth.
Founded in 2006 by Audrie Austin, NLAT began as a safe place for teens and young adults—especially in underserved communities—to showcase their talents and grow as emerging artists. Inspired by her son, Audrie created NLAT to be more than a stage; she built a community, a teaching space, and a foundation for creative possibility.
Today, NLAT continues that mission with renewed purpose.
Art Meets Art
Our longstanding youth program gives young performers and visual artists a platform to express themselves through music, dance, poetry, and theatre. It builds confidence, collaboration, innovation, and leadership.
New Expansion:We are now developing a backstage training initiative under the Art Meets Art umbrella—teaching young people how to run lighting, sound, props, and stage management. These are real-world production skills that open doors to careers in the arts.
Art Expressions
Our free Art Expressions workshops offer a healing space for veterans, first responders, and community members to process stress, anxiety, PTSD, and life transitions through creative expression. Each session blends painting, writing, and mixed-media art in a supportive environment built on connection and resilience.
These workshops run for eight months each year and remain free thanks to donors like you.
Coming Spring 2026: SEATd
SEATd is NLAT’s next major community art experience—an imaginative exhibit that reimagines the ordinary chair as a canvas for storytelling, culture, and identity. Each work incorporates or transforms a chair, exploring how everyday objects can become powerful reflections of who we are.
This exhibit invites the community to sit, reflect, connect, and rethink the familiar.
