Our Needs
🐾 MUTTS GALORE’S GREATEST NEEDS 🐾
We are often asked, “What does the rescue need most?” So we wanted to break it down. ❤️
🥇 FOSTERS ARE OUR #1 NEED!
Mutts Galore is a foster-based rescue, which means we need safe, loving foster homes to continue helping dogs in the Johnson County animal crisis.
Without fosters, there are dogs we simply cannot take in.
🥈 MONETARY DONATIONS
Our next greatest need is financial support. Donations go directly toward the care of our rescue babies, including:
💉 Vaccinations
🐾 Spay & neuter
📍 Microchips
🩺 Heartworm testing
🏥 Veterinary care and medical emergencies
💊 Medications and other medical needs
These expenses add up quickly, especially when you're caring for a large number of dogs.
🥉 SUPPLIES
Our next biggest need is basic supplies for the dogs in our care:
🍽️ Adult & puppy food
🏠 Crates
🐕 Leashes
🐾 Collars
🦟 Flea & tick prevention
Every single donation helps. Whether you can open your home to foster, make a monetary donation, or send a bag of food or supplies, you are helping us continue saving lives.
We truly couldn't do what we do without our village. ❤️
🐾 Foster. Donate. Supply. Share.
There is a place for everyone in rescue.

Equity Statement
Equity Statement – Mutts Galore Rescue
At Mutts Galore Rescue, we believe that every life matters — regardless of breed, background, age, ability, or circumstance. This belief guides everything we do, from the way we care for animals to the way we engage with our community.
We are committed to creating a rescue environment that is inclusive, equitable, and respectful — not only for the animals we serve but also for the individuals, families, and communities we work alongside.
We believe that compassion has no boundaries, and that access to rescue support, veterinary care, education, and adoption opportunities should not be limited by race, income, identity, geography, or background.
We work to uplift underserved animals and communities, often stepping in where others won’t — because we know that lasting change begins where compassion meets action.
We recognize the value of diverse experiences and perspectives, and we strive to build partnerships with individuals and organizations who share our commitment to ethical, inclusive rescue work.
Through every foster placement, every spay/neuter effort, every life saved — we reaffirm our belief that equity, empathy, and justice are essential to meaningful animal rescue.
At Mutts Galore, everyone deserves a second chance — four-legged or two.
