Murdock's Mission is our little rescue located in the Historical Fairmount District of Fort Worth, Texas. Our main focus is on humanely controlling the over population of cats in our area (and surrounding areas) through TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Return) efforts. We also work to spread the word to low income pet parents on the importance of vaccines, spay/neuter, and preventive care through promoting low cost clinics. We take in, care for, vet, and adopt out friendly cats that wonder into our traps (and the occasional pup we run across). We hope someday to be able to enact a program where less people have to choose between feeding their family or getting their furry friend vetted. Our mission is to build our resources, knowledge, and funding to make a better world for the cats that cross our path. Little Rescue. Big Heart.
Our Mission is to focus on TNR and spread community awareness of low cost spay/neuter resources. We also rescue, rehab, and rehome animals in need, providing them with love, care, and a second chance at a happy, healthy life. We are dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership, raising awareness about the importance of spaying/neutering, and advocating for animal welfare. Our goal is to one day have a community outreach program that offers low income families funding for preventive and life saving care in order to be able to keep their fur friends in the family.
We need funds for TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Return).
We also need funds for vetting adoptable cats and dogs that find their way into our little rescue.
We are committed to promoting equity for all individuals who put forth an effort to rescue animals. We care enormously about fostering a supportive and welcoming space for rescue collaboration. We stand in solidarity with our community members fighting systemic racism and sexism and we are open to acknowledge our own shortcomings.
