Our mission is to reduce barriers to an enriching educational outdoor STEM summer camp experience for young girls with high potential, in families without resources, by providing camp sponsorships.
As a new and growing nonprofit, MPower Girls Camp needs support to continue offering life-changing STEM camp experiences to underserved 4th and 5th grade girls in Dallas. Our top funding needs include:
Camper Scholarships:
$500 fully funds one girl’s week at overnight STEM camp, including transportation, supplies, and clothing.
Our goal is to sponsor 10 girls in 2025, requiring $5,000.
Year-Round STEM Activities:
Funds allow us to host hands-on STEM field trips and workshops during the school year to keep girls engaged and inspired.
Camp Supplies & Essentials:
Many girls attend camp with little more than the clothes on their backs. We supply everything: toiletries, bedding, backpacks, flashlights, and more.
Transportation:
We provide vans for both campers and their parents to visit camp, ensuring accessibility and parent confidence.
Growth & Expansion:
With your help, we’ll grow to serve more schools and girls each year—expanding our reach and deepening our impact.
MPower Girls Camp believes diversity, equity and inclusion are the strength and foundation of the organization and is committed to reducing barriers to allow any and all 9- to 11-year-old girls the ability to see new visions for their futures by providing STEM summer camp sponsorships to those families without resources.
Our commitment extends beyond mere words, it is reflected by actively seeking those schools with the highest levels of student diversity and lowest levels of economic opportunity.
