A School Built for Creative Expression

At Jesús Moroles Expressive Arts Vanguard, the arts aren't an add-on. They're part of how students learn, grow, collaborate, and discover their voice. Through hands-on practice, rehearsal, performance, and presentation, students learn that creativity is both inspiration and work. Along the way, students learn to listen, experiment, solve problems, respond to feedback, work together, and keep going when something doesn't work the first time.

Six Disciplines. One Creative Community.

Through hands-on practice, rehearsal, performance, and presentation, students learn that creativity is both inspiration and work. An idea becomes a sketch. A first attempt becomes a revision. Individual practice becomes an ensemble. Rehearsal becomes performance. Along the way, students learn to listen, experiment, solve problems, respond to feedback, work together, and keep going when something doesn't work the first time.

GREAT YOUNG ARTISTS NEED PEOPLE IN THEIR CORNER.

The Moroles Vanguard Partnership brings together families, educators, and community supporters to expand what's possible for Vanguard students. Through fundraising, volunteer leadership, and community partnerships, MVP helps provide resources and experiences that take their arts education further.

Every rehearsal, sketch, performance, revision, and shared creative challenge asks students to try, adjust, listen, collaborate, and keep going. Along the way, they're developing confidence in their own voice, the discipline to strengthen their craft, and the courage to share something they've made with others. Those experiences build curiosity, collaboration, resilience, and a sense of belonging—qualities that reach far beyond a stage, studio, classroom, or practice room.

THE SCHOOL PROVIDES THE FOUNDATION. MVP EXPANDS WHAT'S POSSIBLE.

Equity Statement

At Moroles Vanguard, equity means ensuring every student—regardless of background, neighborhood, or economic status—has the stage, the canvas, and the resources to amplify their unique voice. Inspired by our namesake Jesús Moroles, we believe that diverse perspectives shape the finest art and the strongest communities. We are dedicated to dismantling barriers to access, cultivating an environment where all students are safe, valued, and empowered to achieve academic excellence and artistic brilliance.
