$10,000 Goal

The More Than Mental Project was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: mental health is not a privilege—it’s a right. We exist to break down barriers, erase stigma, and ensure that every person, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the care, compassion, and community they deserve.

Through our programs, we address mental wellness from every angle—offering free or low-cost therapy sessions, medication assistance, school and community education, and initiatives that build strength, resilience, and hope. We know that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, so we create spaces—both physical and emotional—where people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Our work extends beyond conversation into action. From More Than Movement, which uses fitness and dance to nurture mind-body connection, to Sowing Seeds, our apparel brand that funds our mission through purpose-driven fashion, every branch of our organization is rooted in the same goal: transforming lives.

We believe in planting seeds of change and nurturing them into a culture where mental health is understood, respected, and prioritized. Every program, every event, every conversation is a step toward a world where no one has to face their struggles alone.

We are more than a nonprofit. We are a movement. We are a family. We are the More Than Mental Project—and together, we are breaking the stigma for good.

Equity Statement

At the More Than Mental Project, we believe mental health care is a human right—not a privilege. We are committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and accessible environment where every individual—regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, age, ability, or lived experience—feels seen, heard, and valued.

We recognize that systemic inequities, discrimination, and historical trauma directly impact mental health outcomes. Our work actively challenges these barriers by centering marginalized voices, providing culturally responsive support, and expanding access to quality care for all communities.

Equity is not a goal we aim to reach—it is a value we embed into every program, partnership, and policy. We are dedicated to learning, unlearning, and evolving as we build a world where healing is possible for everyone.
