At Treetops School International, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn in a place that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and nurtures compassion. For nearly 30 years, our unique K–6 public charter school in the DFW area has been doing just that. Nestled on 22 wooded acres with trails, outdoor classrooms, and a flowing creek, Treetops is more than a school. It is a community where children discover who they are and what they can become.
Unlike traditional schools, we integrate the outdoors into daily learning. Students explore science in the creek, write poetry beneath the trees, and collaborate across grade levels through our newly launched House System that builds belonging, leadership, and joy. In classrooms, our focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) connects students with hands-on projects and problem-solving opportunities that prepare them for the world ahead.
As a lean, single-campus charter school, we receive less state funding per student than traditional ISDs. This means community support is critical to sustaining and growing our mission. Every donation through North Texas Giving Day helps us:
Expand STEAM and outdoor learning experiences for all grade levels
Provide field trips and enrichment opportunities that broaden students’ horizons
Support teacher professional development so our educators bring the very best to their classrooms
Strengthen our House System which gives every child a place to belong and a chance to lead
Build capacity for the future, including new spaces that honor our history while meeting the needs of the next generation
Your gift, no matter the size, directly impacts our students. When you give to Treetops, you are helping children grow into capable learners, creative thinkers, and compassionate leaders. You are helping preserve a rare learning environment that blends nature, innovation, and community.
This North Texas Giving Day, we invite you to be part of our story. Together, we can ensure that the magic of Treetops continues to thrive for years to come.
