Trauma is real. And it doesn’t just affect one person...it ripples through entire families.
At Mercy’s Shore, we meet trauma with healing for both mothers and their children. We serve previously incarcerated moms and their kids through a residential, Christ-centered, trauma-informed program where restoration, not judgment, leads the way.
These women are seeking help. That takes courage. Vulnerability. Faith. They deserve support, not shame.
With weekly counseling, life and job skills training, and spiritual care, moms begin to rebuild. Children, too, receive therapy to help them heal and grow in safety and love.
“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.”— Neil Postman

Mercy's Shore reunites children and their previously incarcerated moms in a residential, Christ-centered program providing a safe place to live, trauma-informed services, accountability, and grace.
The current and greatest challenge faced by Mercy's Shore continues to be funding for programming for the children and their moms during their participation in the program of Mercy's Shore.
