Meowtown Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, donation-funded nonprofit 501(c)(3) serving the Fort Worth area. We rescue abandoned, stray, and at-risk cats and kittens—including pregnant mamas and newborns—providing vaccinations, spay/neuter, socialization, and loving foster homes. We also support local TNVR efforts by lending traps and helping cover the cost of spay/neuter and vaccinations. Every cat in our care is nurtured until they’re ready for a responsible, forever home.

Meowtown Animal Rescue relies entirely on donations and volunteers to continue saving vulnerable cats and kittens in the Fort Worth area. Every contribution—no matter the size—directly impacts the lives of the animals in our care.
Your support helps us provide:
-Spay/Neuter Services – Preventing unwanted litters and reducing the number of homeless cats in our community. --Vaccinations & Preventive Care – Protecting cats and kittens from common and preventable diseases.
-Medical Treatment – Covering the cost of urgent and unexpected veterinary needs, from injuries to chronic conditions.
-Everyday Health Maintenance – Supplying dewormer, flea prevention, and other essentials to keep our cats healthy and comfortable.
-Treatment for Illness – Caring for cats with upper respiratory infections and gastrointestinal issues, which are common in rescues.
-TNVR Support – Assisting with trap-neuter-vaccinate-return efforts by lending traps and funding spay/neuter and vaccines for community cats.
Every dollar you give helps us save lives, provide compassionate care, and prepare each cat for a loving forever home.
Together, we can make Fort Worth a safer, healthier place for cats—one rescue at a time.
At Meowtown Animal Rescue, we believe compassion has no boundaries. Our commitment to equity means we welcome and serve all people—and all cats—with respect, dignity, and kindness.
We recognize that barriers to access and inclusion exist, and we strive to ensure that everyone in our community—regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, ability, or income—has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from our rescue efforts.
We also acknowledge that animal welfare and human welfare are deeply connected. By fostering empathy, supporting underserved areas, and promoting responsible pet care for all, we work toward a more just and compassionate community for both people and animals.
