MCHS offers families an authentic AMI Montessori education. Honoring this holistic, inviting, informed approach to learning, we dedicate our efforts to focus on what is best for each child. Our purpose - reverence for a wholesome, peaceful, safe childhood for all - inspires everything we do.
We need your help to continue guiding young children to be confident, competent, and capable individuals.
Small non-profit 501(c)(3) private schools like ours do not receive any national, state, or city funding that public schools operate on from tax dollars. We rely on fundraising to cover all operational costs. Enjoying our large 3.5-acre wooded expanse in the heart of Lake Highlands and our small, special community does not happen without cost! Your gift contributes to salaries, Montessori materials, NEW programs, Professional Development / Continuing Education for our faculty and staff, regular facility maintenance, as well as necessary repairs and upgrades.
Maintaining the high standards we have set and held for 55 years takes all of us! We count on funding from friends like you. We sincerely appreciate the financial support you can provide to help us continue our mission.

Mission
MCHS is dedicated to providing quality Montessori education to children ages 18 months to 6 years of age, when children are naturally enabled with the capacity to make substantial leaps in their academic, cognitive, and social development.
Needs
MCHS is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit educational facility. It is incorporated as a separate entity and is not owned by any individual. A Board of Directors comprised entirely of dedicated volunteers is responsible for its governance and for overseeing the mission of the school--which is to provide the best possible Montessori education to our students.
MCHS operates without funding from city, state, or federal government entities. All of the contributions made to MCHS benefit our students.
