For over five decades, Montessori Children's House and School (MCHS) has provided authentic, AMI-accredited Montessori education in safe, peaceful environments that spark curiosity and resilience in Dallas, TX.
MCHS is dedicated to providing quality Montessori education to children ages 18 months to 6 years of age, when children are naturally enabled with the capacity to make substantial leaps in their academic, cognitive, and social development.

Every staff member at MCHS takes part in continuing education—from those just starting their Montessori journey to educators with decades of experience, and everyone in between. Each team member has unique needs for growth, enrichment, and inspiration. Providing the highest quality training for our staff deepens their understanding of Montessori philosophy, which ultimately benefits our students.
While this list isn't comprehensive, your support directly funds what we are most excited about accomplishing this year:
1) Customized AMI Pedagogical Consulting for our Toddler Team ($2,500): A series of onsite, in-person workshops with an AMI Toddler Trainer throughout the school year. This will allow our 8-person Toddler Team (including classroom guides, assistants, and Before/After Care staff) to address pressing questions and dive deeper into child development.
2) AMI Refresher Weekend for Two Trained Guides ($3,500): Two Primary Guides—with over 40 years of combined Montessori experience—will attend the Annual AMI National Refresher Event in Orlando, Florida. Widely considered the premier pedagogical experience, this event grounds us in our purpose and reignites our passion for Montessori education. This includes registration, airfare, and hotel for both Guides.
3) AMI Orientation Course for One New Staff Member ($1,000): A new, enthusiastic assistant will complete a six-week online course (nights and weekends) covering lectures, observations, and practical strategies for working with 3–6-year-olds. She will gain the foundational tools needed to confidently support children’s independence, purposeful activity, and joy in learning.
