we strive really hard to achieve a 90 cents on the dollar return to provide our children with autism with therapy, we are also committed to fairly long term therapy, at least 2 years or longer so we can have a long term impact on their lives and the lives of the family. Literally every dollar is important to us in meeting that goal!!
Right now as a new local non-profit we are trying to raise funds for some children who desperately need therapy but just can't afford it. We have a gorgeous 10 year old in speech therapy right now who could only say one word 8 weeks ago when he got his grant through MAXimum Chances. He has now learned a handful of words and is learning phrases! His progress has been amazing and he tries so hard! He will need therapy for several years so he can have a chance to keep building on his progress and actually talk and have conversations with his family and at school! Please also help us raise funds to give children an opportunity for 8 hours of therapy a day at Journey Learning Center. This is crucial for children just diagnosed to help them become amazing members of our society! UPDATe. Our gorgeous 10 year old is now an amazing 15 year old whose life has been changed by his ability to communicate with people around him. Its truly miraculous when children who don't learn to speak until so late begin to talk, we are SO proud of him and grateful to the incredible therapists who helped him!
