Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation is an organization based on the spirit of compassion and care and is dedicated to ensuring that excellence continues at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. Our intent is to generate philanthropic support for our hospital that provides care for surrounding communities such as Richardson, Plano, North Dallas, Wylie, Sachse, Garland, and Murphy. The Foundation staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing close-to-home services to our community.
Invest in a Culture of Compassionate Care
The Foundation sets aside funds for admitted patients who cannot be discharged in good conscience without the prescriptions they cannot afford. These patients are unfunded or significantly underfunded, ranging from chronically ill patients who are strapped for financial resources to patients with no germinate address, required to secure a prescription. Rather than linger, occupying a hospital room, the Foundation works with the hospital pharmacy to pay for the necessary medication so the patient can be safely discharged and on their way. Prescription Care ranges from a mere $7 to $600 per patient. Our Foundation expects to fund $20,000 annually.
Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation's mission is to raise, manage, and distribute funds to assist Methodist Richardson Medical Center in acquiring state-of the-art technology, attracting excellent medical staff, and supporting vital hospital programs.
