$6,000 Goal

Lucy was founder Roberta Womack’s first dog as an adult and she was very much loved… Sadly she passed away at the young age of just 7 years old. After Lucy crossed the Rainbow Bridge Roberta healed her broken heart by starting to foster dogs in need of help then later on she started her own rescue…Lucy’s Lost Loved Ones.

One little Chihuahua with a big heart set off a chain of events that now reaches lot of other little dogs in need of homes and help.

Please consider volunteering in any capacity as help is always needed for the many animals found as strays and in shelters in need of love. We try to rescue every one we can but fosters are in short supply now days with so many unwanted animals.

We also hope you will spay and neuter your pets to help slow the number that are put to sleep (euthanized) in shelters every year and Lucy says, “Please don’t breed or buy while shelter pets die. Thank you, Love Lucy”.

Mission

We're Saving Chihuahuas One at a Time!! We help the injured, unloved, and unwanted, as well as those dogs who through no fault of their own, have no one to care for them. Our group is made up of volunteers, and we rely on donations and adoption fees to cover all costs related to the upkeep and care of these wonderful dogs. All of our dogs are cared for in loving foster homes, until they can be placed in their Forever Homes. We are HOPING to Raise $6,000.00 this year!

Needs

Funds needed to purchase food, monthly heartworm preventative, monthly medication, annual dental cleaning and unexpected vet bills.

Equity Statement

Lucys operates on funds received from NTGD all year. Vet bills almost depleted funds in 2021. Lucys has several unadoptable pets in rescue due to age, health, temperament, but our goal is to insure every animal in our regardless, of adoption status, receives proper vet care.
