Lucas Christian Academy (LCA) is a Pre-K-12 Christ-centered hybrid model school rooted in the foundational premise that meaningful and positive parental mentoring makes the biggest difference in a child's education. Blending the best attributes of home education and the traditional classroom for the past 22 years, LCA students attend classes on campus 2-3 days per week and complete their studies at home under the guidance of their parents.
LCA fosters opportunities for authentic relationships in all its endeavors. Parents agree to become part of the LCA community by attending fellowship, workshops, and community events. LCA partners with parents in the Christian community to transform students' lives through academics, athletics, servant leadership, and the arts. Academics at LCA inspire a passion for God's truth and beauty, train students to think critically from a biblical framework, and encourage the virtues of lifelong learning.
NTXGD will help LCA to raise funds to bridge the gap between tuition and operating expenses. From LCA’s founding, a goal has been to keep tuition as affordable to as many families as possible and to trust the generosity of those who have been blessed with more to bridge the gap. LCA runs on a “faith budget” where about 10% of the cost of running the school is covered through the generous gifts of friends and family every year. The second reason for a “faith budget” is that this reminds us to be dependent upon the Lord.
