💎 About Lo’s Jewels Foundation, Inc. (LJFI)
Since 2017, Lo’s Jewels Foundation has empowered youth through academic support, behavior coaching, cultural awareness, and community care. Rooted in a mother’s love for her daughter and carried forward in honor of her late son, the foundation is a testament to turning pain into purpose.
In 2020, Fort Bend County officially proclaimed Akireè Pointer Heroes Day to honor our ongoing commitment to serving veterans, military families, and the community a cause deeply personal to us.
We’ve served over 30,000 meals, offered afterschool programs, family coaching, food drives, and sponsored events locally and abroad, including outreach across Africa and Latin America.
We partner with schools, police departments, and apartment communities to provide essentials like backpacks, school supplies, and meals. In 2022 alone, we served 13,000+ meals across six low-income housing communities, and that number continues to grow.
From a community garden in Houston to Cops & Kids Fishing Day in Grand Prairie, LJFI is committed to building unity, healing hearts, and helping kids thrive.
