Longhorn Council- Scouting America

Longhorn Council, Scouting America serves youth and families across North and Central Texas by delivering programs that build character, leadership, and lifelong values. Through hands-on experiences, outdoor adventures, and community involvement, Scouting helps young people grow into responsible, engaged citizens.

This North Texas Giving Day, we are working to raise $15,000 to support and strengthen local Scouting programs. As our nation prepares to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, your gift is an investment in the next generation of leaders who will shape our communities for years to come. Every donation helps us reach more families and ensures that every young person has the opportunity to experience the adventure, leadership, and life-changing impact of Scouting.

As a special thank-you for your support, donors who contribute $50 or more through the North Texas Giving Day portal will receive a limited-edition America 250 Longhorn Council Eagle shoulder patch. Donors who give $150 or more will receive the Eagle patch plus three exclusive "ghosted" companion patches in red, white, and blue. These collectible patches are available only through this campaign. Donations must be made through the North Texas Giving Day portal by September 30 to qualify. Patch orders will be finalized on October 1, and no additional patches will be produced. Once they arrive, patches will be mailed to donors using the address provided during checkout.
