Empowering Voters.  Defending Democracy.

The Richardson League serves the City of Richardson, Texas and the Richardson Independent School District.   The Richardson League is best known in the community for providing nonpartisan, accurate election information for voters by sponsoring candidate forums and producing nonpartisan Voters Guides.  In addition, we conduct voter registration drives and produce a local Guide to Elected Officials.

The League of Women Voters of the United States was founded in 1920 by the suffragists who led the fight for voting rights for American women.  The League of Women Voters of Texas had been founded six months earlier, in 1919.

With 100 years of experience, the League is one of America’s oldest and most trusted civic nonprofit organizations.
