Lantana Cares

Lantana Cares is a local 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to resident empowered beautification, education and recreation in our Lantana, TX community. On June 30, 2016, Lantana Cares was established as a nonprofit corporation under and in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas. 

On June 28, 2019, Lantana Cares assumed membership interest from developer Forestar (USA) Real Estate Group, Inc. Lantana Cares  is dedicated to managing and supervising the Lantana Education / Charitable Foundation and to deploying certain funds granted by the Lantana Education / Charitable Foundation for the same quality of life purposes. 

Both organizations focus on grants on infrastructure and activities in close geographic proximity to the homes in the Lantana master-planned community and its public schools. The grants provide broad benefits to a significant proportion of families and households in the community. These include investments in the community's schools, recreational facilities and cultural activities that will be enjoyed by all Lantana families. The goal of these grants is to enrich the quality of life for the Lantana community in ways that matter to current and future residents.
