The purpose of the Lake Kiowa Kiwanis Club (a 501c3 non-profit organization) is to inspire and empower the children of Callisburg ISD to reach their full potential.

All funds raised support special needs and projects for the Callisburg school district throughout each school year. Here are some of the ways that Lake Kiowa Kiwanis Club has supported the kids of Callisburg ISD:

Designed and funded a $70,000 outdoor courtyard for Callisburg HS in 2024
Over $10,000 in scholarships awarded to deserving students in 2025
Books for the elementary school
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program support by providing classroom materials, furniture, pollinator gardens, and robotics club resources
Holiday meals for needy children/families in the Callisburg area
Christmas gifts for needy children/families in the Callisburg area
Replacement of Callisburg Elementary playground equipment
Annual Easter Egg hunt for Callisburg ISD kids
Teacher appreciation and support
VISTO food bank quarterly support

Needs

The Lake Kiowa Kiwanis Club values both individual and corporate donors who are committed to helping us deliver on our purpose of inspiring and empowering the children of Callisburg ISD to reach their full potential.

In addition to funding special projects and needs, Lake Kiowa Kiwanis Club has also created an endowment to help provide scholarships to deserving students each school year.
