Hello! We are Lake Cities HOPE (Helping Other People Elevate). We are located in Denton County, North Texas. Our primary area of focus is Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, Shady Shores and Corinth. (We do welcome other cities into many of our programs when we can!) When asked what we do, my favorite answer is "All the things!" We have programs from a Trade Days and Farmers Market to prom dresses to animal adoption packs and so many things in between. We are a group of dedicated individuals with a shared passion of loving on our community and making our corner of the world "a little better". We are dedicated to bringing quality programs to the community that promote social well-being.
Lake Cities HOPE is looking to secure community partners. We desire to connect with individuals and local business that share the desire to help our community. We understand not everyone can do the "dirty" work. We seek financial support to help keep our current programs going and give us the opportunity to start new programs when we see the need.
Some of our current programs include:
*Lake Cities Trade Days and Farmers Market
*Senior Citizen Holiday Luncheon (for 150 senior citizens)
*Mission Turkey (Thanksgiving meals for 100 "at need" families)
*Operation Christmas HOPE gift trees (gifts for over 300 kiddos)
*Holiday party for local Adult Day Hab
*Back to School drive (backpacks and supplies for over 400 kiddos)
*Operation FURever HOPE
*Water Drive for First Responders
*First Responder appreciation meals
*Monthly lunch, craft & activity for local Adult Day Hab for special needs adults
