Konnect to the Konnection

A nonprofit organization

Konnect To The Konnection reaches youth that others overlook, those navigating high-crime communities and limited opportunities while also uplifting youth on the right path. Founded by someone who grew up in this environment, overcame its challenges, and transformed a prison sentence into a purpose, K2K connects through lived experience, proven strategies, and authentic relationships that inspire change. With funding, we will strengthen our programs and build a team of like-minded leaders dedicated to serving all youth, not just some.

Mission

We empower youth with a ‘Star Mentality ’fostering excellence, resilience, and faith through sports, youth & parent gatherings, community service projects, social activities, both local and out-of-town summer camps. Our mission is to inspire young individuals to become engaged leaders who positively impact their communities.”

Needs

K2K champion at risk youth in West Dallas through sports, mentorship, and community engagement. While our long-term goal is to secure a permanent facility, our immediate need is funding for basketball uniforms, meals for games, program operations, outdoor activities, and inner-city resources clothing, shoes and technology. Your support will help us equip our youth, provide safe and enriching opportunities, and continue building a brighter future for our community. Your gift today helps provide these needs and safe opportunities while we work toward a permanent home.

Equity Statement

Konnect To The Konnection is committed to creating equitable opportunities for all youth, regardless of background or circumstance. Guided by personal encounters and lived experiences, we connect through sports, mentorship, and resources that break down barriers, build confidence, and ensure every young person has a fair chance to succeed. This connection is what makes our work both impactful and lasting.
