KidLinks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides healing, hope, and happiness for children and families through Board-Certified Music Therapy, Therapeutic Music Entertainment, and online music and media.
For over four decades, KidLinks has provided healing musical experiences for children with special challenges. We have positively impacted the lives of over 450,000 children and caregivers with direct services, and many thousands more each year via our online resources.

Not long ago, 3-year-old Alp sat quietly in his first music therapy session, watching more than talking. His parents were just hoping their son could find his words and begin to communicate.
Today, when Alp finishes an activity, he tells his therapist, Gina, “I’m finished with the…” He reaches for the instrument he wants and asks for it. And every so often, without any prompting at all, he surprises everyone in the room with a full sentence he wasn’t asked to say.

Alp is one of many children who come to KidLinks not quite ready to say what they mean, and leave sessions each week a little more able to be heard. None of that happens without you.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SUPPORT OUR MUSIC THERAPY PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES TO BETTER SERVE NORTH TEXAS.
Through the generosity of our donors like YOU, KidLinks financially supports therapeutic music initiatives and free/low-cost treatment programs for children with special challenges that may include developmental, behavioral, and learning disabilities as well as mental health needs.
**Funds raised go directly toward the development of the following:
1. THERAPEUTIC MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT: In KidLinks' proprietary program, our musicians provide live therapeutic music at schools, hospitals, special care centers, learning centers and community events.
2. MUSIC THERAPY: Our Board-Certified Music Therapists assess the needs of each child and create individualized treatment plans. We offer up to 16 weeks of free 1:1 sessions, and subsidized sessions thereafter. Telehealth and direct therapy services are available to eligible youth ages 2-18 years old.
3. SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS RESOURCE SITE: Our curated digital application of music, animations, and downloadable guidebooks aid in the instruction of social-emotional skills development for organizations serving families and children with special challenges.
