Kham's House was founded in honor of Khamron J. Dawson, whose courageous battle with osteosarcoma revealed both the extraordinary strength of the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) cancer community and the significant gaps in support for young patients and their families. Today, his legacy lives on through a mission dedicated to easing the burdens that accompany a life-changing diagnosis.
We serve adolescents and young adults (ages 15–39) facing cancer and other serious illnesses by helping address practical needs that often stand between families and healing. Through lodging assistance, fertility preservation assistance, financial support, community partnerships, and compassionate care, we strive to ensure no family has to navigate this journey alone.
At Kham's House, we believe hope is more than encouragement—it is action. Every partnership, volunteer, advocate, and donor helps transform moments of uncertainty into opportunities for comfort, resilience, and healing.
