Kay Foundation

The Kay Foundation is a veterinary nonprofit founded to ensure every pet owner has access to the best medicine and compassionate care their pets deserve. Known as Dr. Gail in the North Texas animal welfare community, Gail Bushur-Irwin, DVM is well known for her immeasurable support to the rescue community. The Foundation provides services through both mobile facilities and a clinic in Dallas with vision to provide high quality care to pet owners in need including seniors who frequently struggle to afford procedures such surgeries and the dental care for their beloved companion. Studies suggest too many seniors will prioritize feeding their pet and delaying their own medical care when faced with financial hardship. The Kay Foundation aims to prevent this struggle through access to preventative and emergency care.
