JB's Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer, all-foster home based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue group dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in the Dallas/Kaufman area and the surrounding communities. JBPR provides temporary foster care and medical attention for homeless animals until permanent homes can be found.
We rely on donations to help us rescue homeless cats and dogs.
North Texas Gives to Animals May 15 - 31
In celebration of National Pet Month, Communities Foundation of Texas is proud to present North Texas Gives to Animals, sponsored by Gigi Gartner, launching May 15 through May 31, 2025.
Matching Funds Available To kick off the event on Thursday, May 15, the first $100,000 in online donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Gigi Gartner and Communities Foundation of Texas. Available for online gifts only, the first $500 per donor per organization will be matched. This helps ensure these generous matching dollars are available to as many participating organizations as possible.

Mission
JB's Pet Rescue mission is to rescue homeless, abused and unwanted animals and place them in caring forever homes while increasing public awareness of the need to spay/neuter as a solution to the stray animal overpopulation and to prevent cruelty to animals.
Needs
Our current goal is to maintain operating funds so we can continue to rescue homeless pets.
Financial funds for veterinary, medical and on-going support for animals temporarily in foster care until permanent homes can be found. Funds for food and supply donations while in foster care are also needed.
Another non-monetary immediate need are foster homes for cats and dogs. We are limited in how many we can rescue by the number of foster homes.
