WHO ARE WE?

Jazz BeCuzz Arts Group, based in Dallas, TX, is an arts organization dedicated to using the arts as a vehicle to bring families together, foster creativity, and strengthen community bonds.

Our programming is inclusive of all ages, with a special focus on both youth and senior citizens. For example, we provide donated and restored pianos to qualifying families, making the joy of music accessible in their homes. We also offer affordable art education for students of all ages, taught by world-renowned educators and performers. For senior citizens, we organize live music and exercise sessions that offer a valuable opportunity for social interaction, movement, and joy during what can often be solitary days.

In addition, we host free community workshops in theater, creative writing, and other artistic disciplines. Our artistic exploration events, like the **JAZZ 101** music and visual art concert and the **OFF THE TOP Poetry and Read-in** series, promote writing and reading in a warm and inviting atmosphere. These events feature diverse talent and visual art projects, offering interactive experiences that are enriched by music, culture, history, and creativity.

Our "Good Lyfe" programs are specifically tailored to encourage healthy habits and creative expression for families facing difficult times. Through dance, music, and art, participants are empowered to engage their minds in meaningful ways and find hope in challenging circumstances.

Mission

Jazz BeCuzz Arts Group encourages, cultivates and implements interactive fine arts and cultural arts opportunities in the community as a positive tool for education, bonding, expression and communication for the entire family structure with added specialized programming for underprivileged youth and senior citizens.

Needs

Jazz BeCuzz is actively seeking funding and welcoming donations to help us continue and expand our efforts to provide exceptional opportunities and affordable programs for our community. Our goal is to ensure that families in need and those with limited income can access enriching arts programs, which we believe are vital in building and sustaining our communities. We work diligently with various sites and venues in the community and are currently making plans to expand our facility in October 2024 in order to provide our many programs and services on site. We need your support to do more!

Equity Statement

Jazz BeCuzz is committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in any artistic workspace we present or are a participant in. We feel attentiveness and sensitivity to embracing the vibrant spectrum of all people is crucial in cultivating strength, balance and integrity in the communities we serve.
