At Janie’s Place, we are committed to fostering an environment rooted in equity, inclusion, and respect for all individuals. We recognize that mental health and recovery journeys are deeply influenced by social, economic, and cultural disparities—and we actively work to break down those barriers.

We believe that every woman, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or background, deserves access to safe housing, compassionate care, and the opportunity to heal and thrive.

Our approach is guided by the principles of trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and anti-discrimination. We continuously assess our policies, practices, and partnerships to ensure they reflect our values and support the diverse needs of our residents.

At Janie’s Place, equity is not an initiative—it is a foundation.

We are dedicated to creating a supportive community where each woman feels seen, valued, and empowered to reclaim her life.
