At Janie’s Place Mental Health Primary Home, our mission is to provide a safe, structured, and compassionate living environment for women navigating the challenges of mental health and substance use recovery. We are committed to empowering each resident through therapeutic support, community reintegration, and personal accountability—offering not just housing, but a foundation for long-term healing and transformation. Mental health recovery doesn’t happen overnight—and it doesn’t happen in isolation. At Janie’s Place, we serve as a critical bridge for women transitioning from crisis or clinical care into everyday life. Our program includes therapeutic support, structured living, life-skills development, and recovery-based accountability—all designed to help women reintegrate into the community with dignity and purpose.

At Janie’s Place, we are committed to fostering an environment rooted in equity, inclusion, and respect for all individuals. We recognize that mental health and recovery journeys are deeply influenced by social, economic, and cultural disparities—and we actively work to break down those barriers.
We believe that every woman, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or background, deserves access to safe housing, compassionate care, and the opportunity to heal and thrive.
Our approach is guided by the principles of trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and anti-discrimination. We continuously assess our policies, practices, and partnerships to ensure they reflect our values and support the diverse needs of our residents.
At Janie’s Place, equity is not an initiative—it is a foundation.
We are dedicated to creating a supportive community where each woman feels seen, valued, and empowered to reclaim her life.
