UPDATE 5/19/26! Since we began our North Texas Gives to Animals campaign, our family has grown even more! We recently rescued two lionesses in desperate need of medical intervention. You can learn more about lionesses Kali and Nzuri from this Press Release. The rescue and ongoing medical care of large exotic cats requires significant resources, including specialized veterinary diagnostics, medications, nutrition, and habitat accommodations. We need your help NOW more than ever!
For this year’s North Texas Gives to Animals, we are celebrating our newest residents and raising money for their care.
At the end of March, our In-Sync Exotics family grew by 17! We are proud to be the forever home to our newest residents—three tigers (Raja, Shilo, Bunny), four lions (father Kumba and siblings, Eli, Sabba, and Sky), and ten lemurs.
Caring for large exotic cats requires significant resources, including specialized diets, veterinary care, and habitat maintenance. In-Sync Exotics receives no federal, state, or local funding and relies entirely on the support of donors, sponsors, and the community.

In-Sync Exotics is entirely funded by individuals, corporations, and foundations through donations and grants. To continue our work, we seek funds to cover recurring costs such as food (over $21,000 per month), medical care (more than $250,000 annually), and the general maintenance costs of running a successful sanctuary.
All our exotic cats remain in our care for the rest of their lives, and we need your help to continue giving them the lives they deserve.
Caring for our exotic family members is a significant and ongoing commitment, with annual expenses exceeding $1.98 million. This includes over $21,000 per month for food and more than $250,000 annually for medical care, not to mention the general maintenance required to run a successful sanctuary.

Some of our cats may live to be 20 years old, and because they cannot be returned to the wild, we are dedicated to caring for them throughout their lives. Your support is crucial to our mission.
