$50,000 Goal

Illuminate STEM exists to encourage, empower, and equip students to innovate the technical future of tomorrow.

We inspire and prepare students—particularly those from underrepresented communities—to compete and succeed in high-paying careers across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through hands-on learning, career exploration, entrepreneurial experiences, and exposure to global competitions, students gain the skills, confidence, and real-world insight needed to turn potential into opportunity.

Our vision is simple but powerful: align untapped talent with high-demand careers.

We intentionally invest in communities with the greatest need—bringing transformative STEM education directly into underserved areas. By developing talent from within, we are not only expanding access to opportunity, but also strengthening local economies and helping employers build the skilled workforce they urgently need to remain competitive.

Illuminate STEM sits at the intersection of technical excellence and human development.
We combine industry-relevant training in robotics, drones, AI, and advanced manufacturing with mentorship from professionals actively working in the field. At the same time, we cultivate the critical soft skills—confidence, communication, leadership, and resilience—that determine long-term success.

We don’t just introduce students to STEM—we walk with them on the journey.

Each year, Illuminate STEM equips more than 2,000 students across elementary, middle, and high school with the tools to succeed in college, careers, and beyond. Our outcomes demonstrate both inspiration and impact:

  • 80% of participants express interest in pursuing STEM careers
  • 50% consider majoring or minoring in a STEM field
  • 90% develop foundational programming skills, including robotics
  • 90% enroll or engage in STEM programs at their schools or communities

But our work goes beyond numbers.

We are building a pipeline of future engineers, technologists, innovators, and entrepreneurs—students who will not only change their own lives, but also transform their communities and contribute to the future of our workforce.

Illuminate STEM is not just preparing students for jobs.
We are preparing them to lead, create, and thrive in a world driven by technology.

Our Needs

Across North Texas, thousands of students—especially those from underrepresented and economically disadvantaged communities—remain disconnected from the fastest-growing, highest-paying career pathways in STEM, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies. While industries are rapidly evolving with robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation, the education system often lags behind—leaving many students unprepared and unaware of the opportunities available to them.

At the same time, employers across Texas face a critical workforce shortage. Companies in manufacturing, robotics, cybersecurity, and technology are actively seeking skilled talent, yet struggle to find individuals with hands-on experience and industry-relevant training. This gap limits economic mobility for students and threatens the long-term competitiveness of our regional economy.

For many underserved students, barriers such as limited access to technology, lack of mentorship, and minimal exposure to STEM careers create a cycle where potential goes unrealized. Without intentional intervention, these students risk being left behind in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Illuminate STEM exists to close this gap—but demand is outpacing our resources.

We currently have waitlists of students ready to participate, schools seeking partnerships, and communities asking for programs we do not yet have the capacity to serve. The challenge is not interest—it’s access.

Your support helps us remove that barrier.

By investing in Illuminate STEM, you are expanding access to hands-on, industry-aligned STEM education, mentorship from real-world professionals, and exposure to high-demand career pathways. Our programs don’t just teach technology—they transform mindsets, unlock opportunity, and create clear pathways to economic empowerment.

Here’s how your support makes an impact:

  • $500 – Supports mentorship, instruction, and career exposure experiences
  • $1,000+ – Helps equip classrooms with robotics, drones, and advanced technology

Your investment supports:

  • Robotics, Drone, and AI training programs
  • Industry-grade equipment and technology access
  • Workforce-aligned curriculum and certifications
  • Mentorship from STEM professionals
  • Expansion into underserved schools and communities

This is more than a program—it’s a pipeline to opportunity.

When you give, you’re not just funding a class or camp.
You’r
e helping a student gain real skills, discover their potential, and step into a future they may have never imagined.

Investment in Illuminate STEM is an investment in the future of North Texas—building a diverse, skilled talent pipeline that fuels innovation, strengthens communities, and ensures every student has the opportunity to thrive.
