At the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation (IGRF), our mission is simple: to rescue, heal, and rehome Italian Greyhounds who have nowhere else to turn. These are fragile dogs—physically and emotionally—and many arrive in our care with urgent medical needs, from broken legs to life-threatening illness.
We’re a 100% volunteer-run, foster-based rescue serving Texas and Oklahoma. Every IG we take in lives with a foster family and receives the individualized medical care they need to get healthy and start over.
But here's the truth:
Our greatest need—always—is financial assistance to cover veterinary bills.
Every single dollar donated goes directly toward veterinary services. Not supplies. Not marketing. Not salaries. Just vet bills—often in the thousands per dog. Without the generosity of our supporters, we simply couldn’t say “yes” to the ones who need us most.
