I AM a Golfer Foundation

I AM a Golfer Foundation (IAMGF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to be a catalyst for community renewal and transformation in southern Dallas through the programming, preservation, and promotion of the historic Cedar Crest Golf Course. 

This North Texas Giving Day, we’re inviting our community to do two simple things: GIVE and SHARE.

1. Give to help create opportunities for young people through free golf instruction, paid internships, and college scholarships.
2. Share by creating your own North Texas Giving Day page for IAMGF and inviting your friends, family, coworkers, and network to join you.

Our work uses golf as a platform for much more than learning the game. Young people gain confidence, mentorship, real-world work experience, exposure to new career pathways, and support as they pursue higher education.

YOUR SUPPORT HELPS US CONTINUE THE MOMENTUM

Since our founding, IAMGF has provided:

• Free golf instruction and programming to 4,000+ that introduces young people to the game and the opportunities surrounding it.
• Paid internships and career exposure to 160 that give high school and college students meaningful, real-world experience.
• $500,000+ in college scholarships that help students continue their education and pursue their goals.

Your support allows us to reach more young people, create more opportunities, and continue building on the impact happening every day at Cedar Crest Golf Course and throughout southern Dallas.
