Hope For The Warriors (HOPE) was founded aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in 2006, when a group of military spouses witnessed the urgent needs of service members returning from war with visible and invisible wounds. What started with grassroots efforts like hospital visits, phone trees, and a community 5K quickly grew into a national nonprofit providing comprehensive support.
Over the years, HOPE has evolved from its early “Run For The Warriors” events to offering programs addressing critical needs assistance during emergencies, scholarships, career coaching, community connection, and mental health and wellness services. Guided by resilience and rooted in the military family perspective, HOPE has serves active service members, veterans, and military families.
As the needs of our military community change, so does HOPE—continuing to adapt, innovate, and show up for families, with a vision of inspiring all North Texans to take action in support of the military community.
