Every kid should have a place to belong and thrive...

In the heart of our East Dallas neighborhood, many immigrant families and kids face daily challenges with limited support. In fact more 1/3 kids in Dallas are growing up in poverty.

Hope Dallas was launched in 2020 to combat this. Hope Dallas is a faith-driven missional community meeting some of these needs through our Urban Outreach Center and hands-on programs. We not only serve—we empower. In fact, most of our programs and services are initiated and driven by volunteers! By equipping the next generation of leaders, we’re launching new missional communities that multiply hope, meet real needs, and extend our impact across underserved neighborhoods in our city.

We are so excited and grateful for the impact so far - but the need is still great.

What started as a grassroots collection of passionate people is entering a new phase of growth and greater impact. We are excited to share that we recently were awarded a $40,000 matching grant from a local family foundation! Funds raised will help us complete this match and support our mission of meeting local needs for kids, youth, and vulnerable families experience the compassion of Jesus and build strong lives.

Our Programs

We meet crucial needs through relationships and operate an Urban Outreach Center that is a neighborhood hub and training space for partners to expand impact into our East Dallas neighborhood in two categories: meeting needs and mentoring leaders.

Meeting Local Needs

🎉 Summer Camp is a 6 Week summer program that provides critical out of school support for 100 K-8th Graders. The program includes Sports, STEM, Literacy, Bible, Group Games, Leadership Development, Summer Meals, and Mentors.

⭐️ KidzKlub serves and impacts underprivileged kids in East Dallas through a Saturday outreach program full of mentoring, faith-inspiring, and life-building activities.

👟 Kicks for Kids is an annual Back to School project that provides new shoes and ongoing support for East Dallas students. Back to school shoes are one of the most critical and expensive needs for families each year. Since 2020, over 500 pairs of shoes have been given to kids who regularly participate in our programs.

⚽️ Hope Soccer is a mentor club started by David and Gabe to respond to the need for youth development with mentoring, soccer skills, and character and faith building.Currently, this club is working towards its next phase of becoming a competitive team to gain experience, grow in skill, and experience new opportunities.

🗣️ ESL & Immigrant Support provides immigrant families with basic English studies, immigration support services,  faith building, and new community.

🍽️ Mobile Food Pantry Distribution serves families in the Casa View/ El Capitan neighborhoods through a monthly food distribution. 

Mentoring Next Gen Leaders

🌳 Missional Internship is an 8 Week transformative experience for 8-10 interns that combines missional service, missional mentoring, discipleship, and leadership development to young adult missional leaders. 

🚀 Summer Camp Jr. Intern Program is an invite-only 6 Week summer program for middle school students to grow in servant leadership, gain new experiences, and gain practical 

💯 Missional Leadership Cohort is a committed team of missional leaders seeking to multiply our efforts to help others live and love like Jesus. We host weekly training and equipping events and offer 1:1 coaching and mentoring to help these emerging leaders discover, grow, and practice their God-given calling to impact our city.
