What started as a "party with a purpose" has turned into one of Dallas-Fort Worth's most recognized military holiday organizations. Recognized by GuideStar in 2022, Holidays & Heroes has served more than 500 families since our humble beginnings in 2015. Supported by a six-member board of directors, these volunteers honor the mission to show military families they are not alone, and that people in the community truly care about them. Not all of us have served in the military, but we found a way to serve those who serve in the military.
Holidays & Heroes is a local effort of community volunteers that provide holiday assistance to military families. Our mission is to show these families they are not alone, and that people in the community truly care about them. This is accomplished though sponsorship of military families by local citizens and businesses who provide gifts for the families and a unique Christmas experience for them. Not all of us have served in the military, but we found a way to serve those who serve in the military.
Holiday and Heroes has two major events a year to serve families that we need your help to make possible. We have a Thanksgiving event and a Christmas event. Please complete the form on our website to learn more how to serve at these events.
Holidays & Heroes provides holiday gifts to junior enlisted military and their families. H&H gives to military members and their families in need who have been identified by their commands without discrimination.
