Your Gift, Doubled: Unlock $9,000 in Challenge Grants Today!
Imagine the impact of your generosity, multiplied by two. Thanks to one dedicated donor, we have a $5,000 challenge grant, and thanks to another special challenge grant of $4,000 from the Feldman Foundation TX (in addition to their year round incredibly generous support) your gift today will be matched. This means every dollar you donate will go twice as far toward our goal of raising at least $25,000 to support Jewish student life at SMU.
Under the leadership of our Executive Director, Rabbi Heidi Coretz, our Director of Jewish Student Life, Ali Vogel, our Student Board and our Advisory Board, Hillel at SMU is a thriving organization serving a population of five hundred Jewish students at SMU.
Hillel at SMU is where students build deep relationships, explore their Jewish identity, and connect with a supportive community. We offer a wide range of programs that engage our students and work to strengthen the Jewish future including: Bagel Mondays, Shabbat dinners, Jewish holiday celebrations, Boulevarding, Challah for Hunger, the Jewish Learning Fellowship, and our upcoming Hillel at SMU Birthright Israel trip this Winter Break.
Our work is sacred, and it’s made possible by you. Your tax-deductible donation allows us to provide all of our programs and services free of charge and ensures we have the proper staffing to serve our students.
Join our parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends, in making a difference! Help us unlock every dollar of this challenge grant and continue building a strong Jewish community on campus.
Pony Up!
Hillel at SMU is the Jewish home away from home for our campus community. We value meaningful relationships, joyful Jewish learning, the celebration of Jewish traditions, our deep connection to Israel, Tikkun Olam, and the development of leaders who are world changers.
A Growing Community. A Bold Future.
The Jewish community at SMU is thriving. In just three years, our Jewish student population has grown by an incredible 43%. This isn't just a number—it’s a powerful sign of a vibrant, engaged community that is seeking meaningful Jewish life on campus.
This growth is a testament to the essential work of Hillel at SMU. We have expanded our team and launched new programs to meet the needs of every student. Now, we turn to you—our alumni, parents, and community partners—to invest in this momentum.
Your generous partnership will provide the robust programs and caring, talented staff needed to continue nurturing this flourishing community. Together, we can ensure that every Jewish student at SMU has a welcoming home and the resources they need to thrive.
