The Henry Jackson Crook Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Henry Crook, who died of SIDS in December of 2009 at the age of 12 weeks. Thanks to the generosity of many, Henry Crook scholarships totaling $110,000 have been awarded to eight outstanding and financially deserving young men and women for their high school education at independent schools in the Dallas area.
Our past recipients have graduated from The Episcopal School of Dallas as well as Bishop Dunne Catholic School, and our current recipients are attending Ursuline Academy of Dallas and The Hockaday School. Henry's scholarship recipients have gone on to graduate from Boston College, Occidental College, and Miami University and are currently attending Prairie View A&M and the University of Texas at Arlington. Their careers after college include law and software and system engineering.
Our current and future recipients are graduates of the St. Philip's School in South Dallas, which educates students in grades preschool - 8. Henry's scholarships are used to support their high school education at private schools across the Dallas area.
Our Needs
Our goal is to grow Henry's scholarship fund so that multiple scholarships can be given to deserving students each school year.
