$10,000 Goal

The HEB ISD PTA Clothes Closet has been a collaboration and labor of love between the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District and the Council of PTAs for 35 years with a direct mission of serving students through community support. Our goal is to make sure that all children have the resources needed to be successful in school.

Economically disadvantaged students may visit the Clothes Closet twice per school year and receive over a week's worth of clothing including: 7 pairs of new socks, 7 pairs of new underwear, 1 pair of new tennis shoes, 3 new bras, 7 tops, 5 bottoms, 2 hoodies, 1 coat, 1 pair of pajamas, and 1 dress. School supplies are also available in the Fall on a limited basis.

During the 2022-2023 school year we served 1183 students and 273 of their family members giving over 35,000 articles of clothing. This number represents 10% of our 11,000 economically disadvantaged, with our goal to serve 25% in the upcoming years.
