Heart of Town is a non-profit 501c3 Charitable Clinic providing health services to underserved residents of Wise County. At Heart of Town we believe that healthcare is a ministry. We strive to create a healthy comminity by bringing medical service to all of our neighbors, whether they are uninsured or underinsured.

Needs
We are currently raising funds to continue to support our services. We began clinic operations in February of this year and have been able to provide a full range of healthcare services to over 100 distinct patients. We are able to provide doctor visits free of charge, we can also offer labs for a nominal fee and try to keep medication costs as low as possible utilizing free and reduced cost options. We are also able to provide vaccinations free of charge to un/underinsured and Medicaid recipients. We are blessed to be able to do what we do, but there are operating expenses that we need to cover for the year ahead. We would also love to expand clinic space to include more counties in our service area.
