The One Heart Project is a transformative initiative dedicated to changing the lives of justice-involved and at-risk youth. Our mission is to provide these youth with the skills, tools, and heathy relationships needed to navigate life successfully and to flourish. We work to break the "cradle-to-prison" pipeline by providing these young people with a second chance.
This program is designed to meet the unique needs of each individual by providing staged education, mentoring, life skills training, and employment opportunities. The results speak for themselves: our programs have led to more than a 60% reduction in recidivism rates, down to just 12% with the youth we work with in Texas, according to state data.

The One Heart Project aims to equip justice-involved and at-risk youth with the counseling, education, skills, and healthy relationships they need to navigate life successfully and experience a true second chance.
Our current priority for the remainder of this calendar year and into 2026 is to secure funding impact more youth in Rockwall and Nueces Counties. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for the following efforts:

Fully sponsor one youthâs journey through the One Heart programâgiving them the skills, values, and support to rewrite their future.
đ¤ $3,000 â Equip the Mentors
Provide trauma-informed training for 14 Youth Development Specialists and mentorsâmultiplying your impact by shaping the leaders who walk alongside youth every day.
đ $2,000 â Invest in Transformation
Supply materials and supplies for an entire youth cohortâequipping young people to explore core values, build confidence, and practice healthy relationships.
đ $500 â Celebrate Success
Honor youth at the finish line with a graduation ceremony and certificateâaffirming their hard work and showing them their transformation matters.
